I am a composer and musician and have worked on various projects and formats in many media areas over the years. As a composer, I have worked on various soundscores and thematics for movies, theatre, documentaries and commercials in the audiovisual field. Music as application remains my main field of operation. I have also produced a consistent number of standalone albums that vary in style from orchestral to ambient to jazz as well as a number of projects in a more melodic field featuring various guest vocalists. Over the years, I have performed in various festivals in Europe and occasionally tour with various setups. In the orchestral field of contemporary Mediterranean music, I work on specific formats that offer an insight into my personal dance with the muse. A section of these works are intended at bringing the classical guitar to prominence within an orchestral soundbed. The overall aspiration is to capture the ethereal Mediterranean element, which forms the basis of most of my work. In the field of mediterranean jazz, I have the honour of collaborating with various top musicians from different parts of the world, allowing me to create a distinctive and instantly recognisable sound. I have created an extensive library of production library music, a consistent part of which is constantly in use in various applications, from Broadcast design to movie themes. I have written a number of soundscores for independent movies, an area which I consider highly satisfying, and, more often then not, a learning experience. Various TV branding themes I have composed are still in daily use by a number of TV Stations. My library grows constantly as I venture into new musical territories and soundscapes. As a multi-instrumentalist, I love the cello and fretless bass, which I play in my own style. I also play classical and electric guitar, keyboards and percussion and I have dabbled in ethnic instruments such as the sitar, the tablas, the oud and the shamisen. Some of these thematics can be heard in the Albums section on this site. My works have received excellent reviews, and my intention is to continue to be prolific in my field, always looking for new directions and experimenting with multi-disciplinary formats. The music featured on this site is a small part of a more extensive body of work, my search for the eternal muse.
